Welcome!
I invite you to ask yourself some important questions.
Do I take care of my physical, emotional & mental environment? Have you ever thought about them to be as important as the environment you live in? Being aware of these can start you on a journey to healing yourself. And aren't we always healing from everything we go through?
I've been a licensed massage therapist since the beginning of 2006 and a registered yoga teacher since 2010. As a teenager I understood being happy needed to come from within. Took notice of my environment's effects on my life and it became useful towards changing outlook, decisions, and even brain chemistry. Yoga became a ritual for me at 17 yrs old. Everyday is an opportunity to grow, find better ways to learn to relax and enjoy life. But the reality is we spend more time training ourselves to stress out as a result of our cultural upbringing. We hold our bodies tensely, reflecting what is going on underneath the skin. Too often we choose to stay in emotionally toxic environments, not realizing it becomes mental, emotional, and energetic debris. In turn, affecting us physically. We stimulate ourselves to block this reality and are taught this is just how life is. Cheap deal huh? We have to retrain our habits and why we do them. My yoga teacher Will once said " people do exactly what they want to do, until they decide its not what they want to do, then they change". In other words you can't force healing. But you can educate yourself (⇐ I can't stress this enough!!! ). Take time to balance your body and to quiet the mind to allow for an open flow of energy. Helping to clear, balance, & energize your whole being until it happens from deep within. So do what you want until you feel you are ready for change. That is your intuition, and the more you listen, the stronger it becomes. I believe it is our purpose in life at every moment to be the elevated version of ourselves. To ultimately bring our very atoms we are made of to their highest vibrations, as frequently as we can. Namaste means the divine in me recognizes and acknowledges the divine in you. The part of you that is not your problems, ego, or anything you can think of. It is the observer of the that empty space where you find peace, quiet mind, and relaxation.
